Battle-Damaged B.A.T.
Parts Used - 1986 B.A.T., custom casted head and lower legs
Those poor B.A.T.S., always getting blown apart, smashed up, run over, and even beat over the head by Sgt Slaughter's swagger stick. Meanwhile, all the Vipers, Tele-Vipers, Crimson Guards, and so on all make it off the battlefield without even a small cut or stubbed toe (at least in the cartoon). Those of you who were members of the PIT or Arlington mailing lists a few years back know who made casts of these damaged parts. It's hard to see in the pic, but the B.A.T.'s faceplate is cracked and an eye sensor is poking out. I also dremeled a chunk out of his left sleeve to make it look like he'd been grazed by a bullet. His right hand has been replaced by a small piece off a broken 1986 Roadblock tripod. The tricky part on this one was mixing the yellow/orange paint to match the existing paint.
