Footloose
Battle Corps Rangers
Parts Used - 1991 Dusty arms, Battle Corps Duke waist and legs, casted head and torso from prototype BCR Footloose, 1986 Lifeline pistol, 1987 Falcon shotgun
By now, most Joe fans have heard about the doomed 1995 toy line. The Joes would've been looking great had they not been canned before the line was produced. Footloose is a prime example of this. I'd initially planned to do this figure with a 1988 Muskrat head and a heavily modified 1988 Repeater torso. Luckily, a fine gentleman on the Arlington and Pit mailing lists got ahold of a prototype Footloose and made castings for those that wished to have them (check out yojoe.com if you're interested in signing up for these lists). This figure turned out great, and is a testament to how nice the Battle Corps Rangers line would have been had they been produced. HEY HASBRO! If you're still sitting on these, we want 'em! Enough with the frickin' repaints! ::Ahem:: Anyhoo... just some green, black, and cream paint was all it took to do Footloose. I also used a brown Sharpie for the face, and a black Sharpie for the camoflage.
