Parts Used - Scrap Iron (Comic Pack #49), 1984 Scrap Iron launcher and missiles, modern pistol

This is my first, and as of 2008 when I write this, only fan-fic custom figure.  I prefer making Joes from the comic, cartoon, or unproduced Hasbro concepts.  However, it struck me as odd that Scrap Iron's original filecard states that he works for Destro, yet we never once got a figure made of him as part of the Iron Grenadiers.  This is essentially a repaint, aside from the Cobra emblem being sanded off his helmet.  The red color is the original from the comic pack figure, and it matches Iron Grenadier red almost perfectly.  The launcher stays in place with a backpack peg inserted where the launcher legs normally go.   Hopefully Destro employs a chiropractor -- that launcher will mess up anyone's back!
