The Human Gun
Parts Used - 1991 BAT head, Crimson Guard Commander arms, 1991 Sci Fi torso, Mega Marines Mirage waist and upper legs, 1989 Deep Six lower legs, 1992 Barricade backpack, 1991 Heavy Duty launcher and missile
OK, here's a GREAT example of what can be made without ANY new parts. Hasbro
would've a great job on this guy had he been released. Their prototype can be seen here at yojoe.com.
It took me forever to figure out which figures all these parts came from,
especially the lower legs. The torso is the only piece that required modification.
Those grenades were actually sanded off a Monkeywrench and superglued in place.
The rest were just assembled and painted metallic blue, white, red, or silver.
The backpack is not 100% complete from the reference photo -- there's some piece
that sits inside Barricade's, but if it was ever produced anywhere, I can't place it.
Email me if you have any ideas on that one. Of course, after I did all that
work on the torso, someone points out to me later that it is in fact a repaint of the Air
Commando Spirit's torso. D'oh!!
I'm not sure if this was intended to be a new version of the Joe team's resident SWAT
expert or not. Heck, I'm not even sure if he's a Joe or a Cobra. He also
would've had a four-armed alien companion named Thrasher to keep him company. That
one's gonna be a bit difficult to customize. Maybe someday...
