By now, most Joe fans have heard about the doomed 1995 toy line.  The Joes would've been looking great had they not been canned before the line was produced.   Vendetta, to my knowledge, is the only figure whose concept artwork has made it into collector hands without some sort of hardcopy or other prototype also appearing.  The artwork was published years ago in a toy magazine, possibly in Action Figure News & Toy Review's "Greatest Figures Never Made" series.  Vendetta is also not too well known to Joe fans, probably because of the lack of prototype examples, and because his artwork is not found at yojoe.com.  Anyway, he is going to be one tough figure to complete as he doesn't appear to be using any recycled parts.  You can see some Sculpey on this figure already, and there's more to come.  I'm also going to try using a Ghost Rider figure for the spikes thanks to a suggestion from a fellow fan.   More news on this custom as it develops!
