Parts Used - 1986 Viper head, torso,arms, gun, and backpack; Python Viper waist, Sonic Viper legs

Ah, what we could have had in 1997.  Here you see what was initially planned for what eventually became a Toys R Us exclusive.  Of the 8 figures initially proposed for this release, the Viper is the only figure that resembles his final incarnation.   Of course, what we ultimately got had a BAT lower body and didn't include these accessories, but what are you gonna do?  It's tough to see in the pic, but the backpack was recolored a dark grey.  This custom I assembled from a hodgepodge of random Viper parts I'd picked up in various parts lots over the years.  Better to waste a couple random parts than a good vintage Viper.
